MKEG took part in a Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest Red Cross ‘Women Warriors in Service’ luncheon at Palms Lake on Thursday 8 September 2022.
Fifty-two volunteers gave brief outlines of their groups and how they helped the community.
As well as MKEG, other groups included the Community Bus Service, Four-get-me-nots, Free clinic bus, Legacy, Lions, Meals on wheels, Op shop, Pearls, Recovery group Dungog and the RSL, to name a few.
The money raised from the luncheon and raffles was donated to the Community Bus Service.
