The Myall Koala and Environment Group Easter stall and raffle are the major events to generate money for the group’s voluntary work protecting wildlife.
This year’s stall will be on Saturday 16 April 2022Since 1989 the stall has always been held on Easter Saturday, outside Hawks Nest Newsagency and Post Office.
The stall offers bric-a-brac, books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, costume jewellery, potted plants, electrical items and toys, all donated and collected by the group and supporters We also hold a raffle in conjunction with the stall and it runs for the four weeks before Easter Saturday, with the prizes drawn at the end of the stall on the Saturday. The money collected is used to improve the wildlife corridors used by our locally endangered koalas, enhancing the environment for many other birds and animals. Adrienne Ingram April 2022 |
