Christmas BBq

Well, what a year it’s been!
Even early Saturday morning it was hard to pick the weather. But there ended up being eight Bitou Busters working the downstream end of Moira parade on asparagus and bitou. The only moisture that had to contend with was profuse perspiring from the diligent efforts in a humid atmosphere!
The session ended after spending over an hour weeding before walking the new Habitat Trail that shows seven different habitats from the river to the beach. More weeding was expected for removal en route, but it was mostly bitou that was encountered so it will have to wait until next year as this morning’s work was hard and tiring after being promised a much lighter workload!

Everyone enjoyed coffee at Benchmark before going home to prepare for the afternoon end of season BBQ for a great party of eating, moderate drinking and lots of happy chatting

Best Wishes for a Safe and Peaceful Christmas period
